1911 Synopsis :
I begyndelsen af det 20. århundrede er Kina i krise. Landet er opdelt mellem stridende fraktioner, borgerne sulter og de seneste politiske reformer har gjort situationen værre. Det herskende Qing-dynast som er ledet af en syv-årig kejser og hans hensynsløse mor, enkekejserinde Longyu (Joan Chen), er helt ude af trit efter 250 års ubestridt magt. Huang Xing (Jackie Chan) er for nylig vendt hjem fra Japan, hvor han har studeret moderne krigsførelse.
